Total Solar Eclipse Event in Bellevue, Ohio: A Three-Day Celebration with Multiple Viewing Locations and Activities

Bellevue, Ohio – March 28, 2024 – Bellevue, Ohio, is set to host a three-day Total Solar Eclipse celebration, inviting residents and visitors to join in the festivities from April 6 thru April 8. With a wide array of activities and viewing opportunities planned throughout the town, attendees are in for an unforgettable experience.

In addition to the main event at Central Park, Bellevue offers multiple locations for parking, viewing, and activities within walking distance. Visitors are encouraged to explore these options and purchase their parking spot or package ahead of time to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. “We want to provide attendees with convenience and flexibility in their eclipse viewing experience,” said Jaime Garza, Communication Director from the Bellevue Area Tourism & Visitors Bureau. “By offering multiple locations for parking, viewing, and activities, we aim to accommodate everyone and make this event accessible to all.”

Alicia Robles, volunteer with several community organizations, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We are thrilled to host this three-day celebration in conjunction with the Total Solar Eclipse. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy live music, food vendors, family-friendly activities, and more at various locations across Bellevue. From educational talks to FREE eye screenings, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”

On Saturday the Bellevue Lion’s Club will have FREE eye screenings.  Sunday, April 7, the well-known band Redcliff will take the stage at Central Park from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  DJ Round Block Productions will keep the energy high with dynamic mixes before and after the eclipse on Monday, April 8.

With over 20 vendors offering a diverse selection of goods and services, attendees can explore local crafts, artisanal products, and delicious culinary delights throughout the event.

The Total Solar Eclipse according to NASA is scheduled to begin at 1:57 pm(partial) and reach totality at 3:12 pm lasting approximately 3 minutes, 52 seconds. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early and bring proper eye protection, such as solar viewing glasses, to safely observe the eclipse.
